2. When was Ho Quoc Phu Quoc Pagoda built?
Ho Quoc Phu Quoc Pagoda was built in 1 year with more than 1000 people participating in the construction continuously. The construction started in 2011 and was inaugurated in 2012. The construction cost is up to 100 billion VND.

The history of the formation of the Ho Quoc pagoda on Phu Quoc island is divided into three stages.
Phase 1: (October 14, 2011) Officially started construction of Ho Quoc pagoda in a spiritual project of 110ha, of which the pagoda occupies 12% of the total area, is the largest pagoda in Phu Quoc and the region. Mekong Delta up to now.

4. Architecture - structure of Ho Quoc Pagoda
The architecture of Ho Quoc Pagoda in Phu Quoc is a combination of two architectural styles of the Ly and Tran dynasties. The structure is relatively similar to the sacred pagodas in the Northern region such as the Hundred Gian Pagoda, the Perfume Pagoda.

Ho Quoc Pagoda complex includes Tam Quan gate, main hall, Thien Quang courtyard, steps, drum tower, bell tower and ancestral church. Inside the pagoda, there are sculptures of 18 Arhats, Bat Nha Hang and Pho Hien Hanh Nguyen.

All wooden columns are carved exquisitely, the pagoda owns a 3m high Buddha statue with a monolithic marbled blue color. Each line on the statue is extremely delicate and soft and elegant.
Right behind the Buddha statue is a white plaster statue carved with a dragon and phoenix with a length running along the way to the main hall of the pagoda. To get to the main pagoda of Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Phu Quoc, visitors need to walk through 70 stone steps.

5. Guide to move to Ho Quoc Pagoda Phu Quoc
To move from Duong Dong town to Ho Quoc Phu Quoc pagoda, visitors can move from Duong Dong town by motorbike along the direction to Phu Quoc Prison.
According to the map, when the position is about 1km from Bai Sao, continue to turn into a small turn on the left hand side. Go along the road to reach Ho Quoc Phu Quoc Pagoda. Along the way there will be signposts, this road is a concrete road more than 6m wide based on signposts.

When entering from the gate of Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Ho Quoc Pagoda, visitors will be overwhelmed with 18 arhats carved on stone with serious faces. Looking straight, you will see the way to the main hall with 2 entrances, the middle area has a very sophisticated wooden carpet carved with motifs of flying dragons and lotus flowers.
Note: There are 2 paths to the pagoda, in which if visitors turn left, they will go along the back of the pagoda, this is an internal road, so no tourists are welcome. Therefore, visitors should go straight to the pagoda gate.
